UPDATE - mixer fixed - happier consumer

The Bottom Line: Yes, I'd recommend it. Mine had a very unusual quality-control issue (according to a repairman I trust). But it's probably the best stand mixer for the home cook out there.
Review: I tend to agree with most of the reviewers here that the KSM90 is very powerful. Mine came with one great-sized bowl, a dough hood and a regular beater. I added a balloon whisk and grinder.

But it has some significant flaws that people...

The Bottom Line: I do not recommend this mixer, because you can get a better one for less. I bought a 750 watt stand mixer, much superior quality for the same price.
