Handy Little Gadget!

I received the Kitchen Aid KFC3100 Chef's Chopper a few months ago as a wedding gift and I am very please with it. This little chopper is great for small tasks. I use it mainly for chopping garlic and onion as it only holds 3 cups.

It is small so, it does not take up much counter space.

You do have to dice larger food into small chunks before chopping in the processor but it does save me a little time.

It is also great for making fresh salsa, dips, salad dressing, sauces, and pesto (just to name a few)!
I have also used it on tougher foods like raw carrots, hard cheese and nuts. It gets the job done and fast.

Its removable pieces are dishwasher safe so it is a breeze to clean.

The lid is designed to let you add ingredients as you process, one hole for liquids and one for solids. But there is no cover for it so sometimes spit food out through the little hole. I have learned to place my hand over the hole when I use it.

I must say that I was surprised by the power behind this little sucker! It only has one button (pulse) and I only had to pulse it three or four times to thoroughly chop a small onion. It almost over chopped it for my taste!
