Disappointed in my Kitchenaid Blender!!

I wanted this blender so bad, so 5 years ago when I was planning my wedding I registered for it. Woo Hoo, I got it... But 5 years later, not so happy with it.
I had had a cheapo blender prior to this one, AND, I had burned it up making foo foo drinks, so this time around I decided I wanted a good name heavy duty blender. I really haven't used it to terrible much, and so was really surprised when IT burned out!! While making Margs one day, it burned itself out, and I usually only use small ice cubes while blending my margs... One good thing, great customer service, since the warranty was out, I had wondered what KitchenAid would do for me, they said to send back the broken one(at their expense) & they would send me a refurbished one, I figured that that was better than not having one and/or for buying a brand new blender.
OK, so several Margarita makings later, one of the speeds(stir) on this "new" refurbished blender has burnt out, the other two are still working... Go figure.
I probably would not purchase another KitchenAid Blender, I am disappointed in this product, we do have the KitchenAid hand mixer & toaster & they seem to be doing fine so far.
