Perfection!

by   luvmywine ,  Mar 3, 2006
Pros: Simple to use, easy clean-up, perfection every time!
Cons: None yet
Review: This is, by far, the best waffle iron I have ever used. It makes crisp, evenly browned waffles every time. The inside is moist and delicious. My kids can't get enough of them - and I am happy to make them because it is so simple and clean-up is a ...

Wonderful Waffles, Consistent Compliments

by   tarnpica ,  Nov 30, 2006
Pros: Bakes and browns well and evenly, holds heat well
Cons: Heavy and expensive
Review: Have had one of these for over two years now. Very good consistent browning, crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Holds the heat well so you don't have to wait between batches. Wonderful for quickly producing lots of waffles for a crowd. ...

The very best waffle baker on the market

by   clues5 ,  Jan 26, 2006
Pros: Perfect browning outside, moist inside, can cook two waffles at one time, heats up fast.
Cons: None
Review: I have served waffles at my restaurant for twenty years. I have tried every machine made. This is by far the BEST.That includes $600-$700 restaurant quality makers. If you're in the market for a quality machine, don't even give it a thought -- buy ...

The Great Waffle Maker Bake Off

by   waffle_guy ,  Mar 30, 2005
Pros: Excellent aesthetics! A beautiful piece of kitchen art. Non-stick surfaces work well
Cons: Poor heat intensity equals soggy waffles Difficult cleanup
The Bottom Line: A beautiful piece of kitchen art that produces acceptable white flour waffles (light batters) but heavy batters such as whole wheat come out soggy.
Review: This review compares what I believe are the two most desirable waffle makers on the market for under $300. The units are the Kitchenaid Pro Line Series Waffle Baker model KPWB100, a 1400 watt, two waffle iron unit and the Waring Waffle Pro model WMK300, ...

NOT a Good Experience

by   pat_resende ,  Nov 29, 2006
Pros: Easy to use, easy to clean. Made the best waffles we've ever had. Once.
Cons: KitchenAid's warranty support was abysmal, and I won't be buying any more Pro Line appliances.
Review: Received this appliance for my birthday. Used it twice. On the second use, the heating element failed. Called KitchenAid and was told that a new unit would be on my doorstep in 10-14 business days, and that I should put the defective one in the same box ...
