Light & Fluffy Cupcakes!

The Bottom Line: By far my favorite kitchen appliance!
I had wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer since I left home at 18 and was beyond ecstatic when someone bought us one as a wedding present! As soon as the UPS man dropped it off I just had to bake something. I had ingredients out almost before I got the box open.
It was absolutely everything I had hoped it would be! My cupcakes came out light and fluffy and my frosting thick and smooth. The speed and stand make it so much better than a basic hand mixer...you can walk away while whipping things that take a while (like whipped cream or angel food cake).
The splatter shield is such a time saver. You can add flour or other dry ingredients without stopping the mixer and there is so much less mess so clean up is a snap!
I've only really used it for baking so far but can't wait to get additional attachments like the pasta maker.
It's easy to use, super easy to clean, looks great on a kitchen counter (especially with all the wonderful colors available) and you can whip up 4 dozen brownies without tired arms! Since I've gotten this wonderful mixer I bake at least once a week, it's so easy!
