Terrible

I replaced my fifteen year old GE dishwasher with this KitchenAid because my old unit wasn't getting the dishes clean anymore. The salesman reccommended Kitchen Aid, so I went with it. I should have investigated more! My old dishwasher did a better job than this brand new one! The bowls on the top rack do not get clean. I'm not talking baked on food either. This is stuff I could wipe off with a finger! This dishwasher just doesn't spray the water up into the bowls properly. I kept opening the door during the wash cycle thinking there is something wrong it's not working right, but it's just a bad design. If you google Kitchen Aid dishwashers one of the first websites to come up is a consumer complaint web site. On this site there are many complaints similar to what I experienced with this dishwasher. Plus it seems to have issues with the door which I didn't experience. I wish I had read more about Kitchen Aid before I bought this one. After three washes I returned it for a Bosch- thanks Lowes for a great return policy! On the positive side- if there is one- the Kitchen Aid is really nice looking, holds tons of dishes and is very quiet.
