Great high-end mixer, but I'm preparing for the worst

The Bottom Line: This is a superior model to the Artisan line, with the power to do more, but perhaps not built all-around to handle it. For attachments, though, it can't be beat.

The Bottom Line: Buy one and do not be afraid of refurbished. It will last for over 20 years and it will be the last mixer you'll need!
Review: I bought my Kitchen Aid Mixer refurbished off Amazon for $162.00 plus free shipping. It came about 10 days earlier than I expected and it has been great. Refurbished has a six month warranty but hey I can bake and mix a lot of foods in six months...
