Pros: Mixes bread and cake and can do egg whites and potatoes. Durable and fast.
Cons: Doesn't really replace a food processor for all tasks. Attachments can be a bit clumsy.
The Bottom Line: I love my KitchenAid for bread baking and cakes. It is durable and fast.
Review: Introduction If you ask many people, their one ideal kitchen appliance, the one they aspire to own is a KitchenAid. This retro-looking, heavy mixer is unique in its field. With a powerful motor, a number of available attachments, it is almost as ...

Pros: Thorough, sturdy, versatile, easy to clean
Cons: Accessories can be expensive
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this model to serious home bakers. Smaller models will suffice those who don't bake extensively.
Review: I received my 600 as a gift, having struggled with a cheap hand mixer through graduate school. This KitchenAid model is great for baking! I've challenged it with doughs ranging from soft roll to tough bagel and it's done a stellar job. I don't use it for ...

Pros: Lasts a lifetime, comes in many colors, and you can make anything.
Cons: It's rather expensive. You can get a different brand for probably half the price.
The Bottom Line: It's beautiful, easy to use and lasts forever. Buy one today!
Review: This is the best of the best. This mixer is so awesome. If you buy some of the attachments, you can make anything from bread dough to stuffing your own sausages. If you haven't looked into all the different attachments, what are you waiting for? I'm ...

Pros: PowerKnead Spiral Dough Hook, Lower Profile 6 Quart Bowl, Soft Start
Cons: NONE!
The Bottom Line: Perfect for beginners or advanced bakers. Power to accomodate just about any task needed. PowerKnead dough hook is awesome! Now I can get rid of my breadmaker, yeah!
Review: I just purchased the KitchenAid 575 Watts KP26M1XLC Stand Mixer (Licorice color). I have owned for approx 7 days now and have made numerous loaves of sweet, white and whole wheat bread to give to my co-workers for Christmas. I must say that I am ...

Pros: Powerful
Large Capacity
Durable (at least so far)
Cons: Doesn't do small volumes well at all without the KN3CW accessory.
The Bottom Line: I certainly don't regret this purchase. I was planning on including list price as a con, but I think you get what you pay for, even at full list price.
Review: The mixer is a beast. The 575W motor has breezed through everything I have thrown at it, including many batches of rather stiff bread dough. The soft-start is nice, but I am not sure how useful it truly is. Even with the soft-start, the speed ramps up ...

Pros: Variety of useful attachments
Cons: The bowl is very deep making it necessary to scrape often.
The Bottom Line: Durable and easy to use. A necessity in the kitchen!
Review: It's so easy to write a review on the Kitchen Aid Mixer...I purchased my first Kitchen Aid about two years ago because of the integrity of the company and the rave reviews from the many people I knew who already owned the product. I was told that they ...

Pros: Great craftsmanship, works beautifully, looks fantastic
Cons: Noisy, shakes a bit
The Bottom Line: I'm recommending this product to anyone who loves to bake. I just know that you'll love it!
Review: Oh wow, I'm actually excited to write this review. I purchased this mixer just before Christmas and I've had the opportunity to use it several times. It is fantastic! I absolutely love it. I had wanted one for years but I was skeptical at first, because ...

Pros: The bonus of having different attachments for different jobs. Cheaper machines only give you beaters.
Cons: This thing is LOUD!!! The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
The Bottom Line: If you can stand the noise, and you do any kind of volume baking, you need this machine. In my opinion, you need the different attachments for different jobs.
Review: I purchased my KA Pro 600 only because of the price...a steal at only $260...and that's with $20 shipping. It came to me yesterday and I was so excited I couldn't wait to use it. I do have a small baking business, and that's why I opted for the 6 qt. ...

Pros: Heavy-duty motor makes light work of just about everything!
Cons: Heavy mixer takes up lots of room on the countertop.
The Bottom Line: This is the last mixer I'll probably buy. It has all the features I needed, and it's designed to last.
Review: I LOVE to make and eat cookies and as a result have burned out MANY mixer motors. From vintage Osters to brand new name brands, this KitchenAid is the only one that CANNOT BE KILLED! (And I've tried!) It is also the best mixer I have used for easy ...
