Not for Stupid people because they will have to read and understand the manual.

I've only had the product for a short time so I can not express a full opinion. However, I wanted to comment on the other person who had a problem with the oven light burning out. One of the great things about owning a current KitchenAid product is you can download all the current manuals for that item. They have a great support website. You can simply search on your item number and be taken to a more detailed page.
You can then download the above manual. Which on page number 21 There are not only clear directions on how to replace the Oven Bulb in 6 steps, but actual pictures on how to position your hands to 1: Unplug power 2: Pull the vent grille out. 3: Lift up the bulb cover 4: Replace light, close bulb cover 5: Slide the bottom of the vent grille into place. push the top until it snaps into place 6: Plug in oven or reconnect power.
Based on all the "problems" this person is having perhaps they are illiterate, but even then there are pictures for the mentally challenged.
In time I'll let you know about the quality control on this item, but everything appeared to work out of the box and yes I watched my contractor install the unit.
This is definately the Cooking Appliance of the future. There are 3 forms of energy that are used to defrost, cook, brown and prepare food:
1) The unit has true Microwave power using OptimaWave Plus Technology that actually emits microwaves at the exact amount requested rather then percentages of full power cycles. I could explain Microwaves in more detail but the web covers that, let's just say it ressonates water particles in food that causes friction that gives off heat as a by product.
2) The unit has a Halogen bulb that is capable of genrating 1,000 watts of heat,
3) and a quartz bulb that generates 500 watts of heat.
There are a number of LCD Touch Screen controlled menus. For on mentally challenged people there is even a learning mode which you can practice on. The unit has LCD menu for most of the more complex tasks, but short cut keys for everyday common tasks. It appears to be very well thought out, but you will need to carefully read the manual, so you don't kill yourself by doing stupid things. For example you cannot put the Browning Pan on the middle rack or use sealed containers.
It's also never a good idea to "stare" at you food closely in any microwave because of the inverse square law applied to microwave electromagnetic waves. There is 4 times more radiation at 1 foot then a 2 foot distance.
Overall, this is a cool MicroHood, with tons of extra-features. Things like nightlights that can be timed on a daily alarm or set from bright to low on multiple settings.
Hopefully, the quality on this item is good enough to last many years into the future. It's very difficult to remove the unit once it's installed.
