OK, on the cheap, till you find something better
Pros:
Does eSATA OR USB2.0. Drive fits snugly into interior case
Cons:
ALL plastic interior case, 50% failure of Power cables.
The Bottom Line:
Do not purchase unless this is the only choice and change to something better as soon as possible. It is too HOT and half my power cables died using it.

Author's Review
I picked up two of these back in mid 2007 because of the price: around $20 ea.
Within a month (3 or 4 uses - no more than 2-3 hours each) one of the power bricks (power converter like you get with a laptop) died.
I've been able to use both of them with the one converter left, but not at the same time, obviously. Since I only use these for backups (of my backups - each of my computers has an additional hard drive to which I make weekly Full backups and daily Incremental backups. About once every two or three weeks I copy the latest backups to these *portable* drives)
However, if you need to take this (and depend on it) on the road, or use it for extended periods (left on hours at a time) on your desktop, you will want to find a different choice. I agree with the first reviewer that the heat dissipation is disappointing. 3/4 of the internal HD compartment is plastic with virtually NO heat transfer and the one uncovered side does not come in direct contact with the aluminum enclosure. Therefore, the drive becomes VERY hot. Heat is very bad for hard drives.
Myself, I will probably be changing over to an open air design; where the holder sits on my desktop like the chargers for my phone or Palm Pilot; and simply plop in the different backup drives as needed (then back into the fireproof safe they go...). In the meantime, I'm ok with these for the extremely short time I use them. But, I will be changing over within the month. I *should* probably change over today. If you asked me, that's what I would tell you. Use this if you got it for a great price. But, get something better (cooler) quickly.
I like the eSATA and found both it and the USB worked just fine.
The enclosure opened up ok, but was a little awkward getting the interior to slide back in. The little grooves take minute or two to line up correctly.
