Author's Review
Simple affordable piece of flash memory.
First thing, price. The reason I bought this card was because I wanted more space, and I didn't need anything special. Kingston was a recognizable name, and was the lowest priced, even competing with some cheap generic ones.
Speed wise, this isn't the fastest, but it will do. This would be the type of card that you start to copy something, run somewhere, and it will be done by the time that you get back. I wouldn't do any file work on it, or have any applications running out of it.
Compatibility. I have found that this card works in nearly all my devices. I have used it in various readers, my PDA, a camera, and a DS Light.
Warranty. I'm betting that these things will not break, and as such, are covered with a lifetime warranty.
One thing that i really like is the plastic holder that the card comes from. These are perfect for throwing your card into a bag jumbled with over things, and arenât separated. I think I may start collecting them.
The only thing that i can really nag about is the write protect switch. Pretty much useless. In most of my devices, writing is part of the job. If someone steals it, they can just flip the switch. I don't see what the purpose is.
