A nice, neutral bedding set.
Pros:
nice look, gender neutral
Cons:
poor fit and mediocre quality
The Bottom Line:
This set looks nice, but it is not high quality. If you love it, go for it, but I suggest you save your money and just buy plain pieces separately.

We search and searched and couldn't agree on anything for our surprise baby. Since we didn't know if the was a boy or a girl, it was very important to us that the bedding set be neutral. Everything we found was either full of blue puppy dogs and alligators or satin and butterflies. Finally, we found Barnyard by Kids Line.
It has the look.
We found that the pattern of this bedding went well with all of the other gender neutral items we were finding. Both the sage green and light yellow can be found in this bedding allowing simple accessories to coordinate well. Some could argue that it leans a little toward a boy pattern, but not when you have a horse lover for a mama.
The quality could be better.
We used the comforter as a floor blanket for our baby when she was tiny and thus washed it a couple of times. By the second or third wash, one of the blue flowers had come unraveled. I had to have my mom, a rather accomplished sewer, fix it for us.
The fit
We have three crib sheets - one came with this set and we purchased two other separately. The two that we purchased separately are plain colors and nothing to look at, but they fit the crib mattress well and are nice and soft. The sheet that comes with this set is not very soft and is quite a struggle to get on the mattress. It fits, but it's not easy.
The crib skirt has to be placed exactly so or it won't work with our crib. Perhaps this is the same with all skirts, but it seems that the sizing could have been a bit more accurate with this one.
The bumper pad fits okay, but it is a stretch with the crib that we have. Our crib has wide bars and perhaps this is why, but on the each of the two straps that tie on the long sides of the crib, they are stretched to the side to find a bar that they can be tied to. It works, but could be better.
Overall, if you love this pattern and really want this look, it's not a bad crib set. I would get it again if I really wanted to have this look. However, knowing what I know now, I would just purchase a plain crib skirt and a couple of crib sheets and then purchase the valance from this set and the pillows for the glider. The only reason I wouldn't purchase the skirt as well, is because I could never find in separately. These are the only pieces that we are currently using of this whole set.
If you have your heart set on this, go for it. If you want to spend your money efficiently, buy a couple of accent pieces that you like and then just get plain bedding pieces - a skirt and a couple of sheets and possibly a bumper pad if you want to use it. That's all you'll use.
I am marking this item 'recommended' because there is nothing wrong with it per say, so if someone really wants it, I could recommend it, but as I stated above, I think there are better ways.
