The comp vr is a big step from the everyday car audio u usually hear nowadays the subs as u can tell by the name are competetive subs and are EXTREMELY under rated the peak power of these boomers push higher than stated on the details of this site in fact the factories rms and peak is at 400 and 800 but aside from that i've heard these and own 2 these woofers have the everyday punch 10 bass and much much more i also have 800 wats running to them wich works indefinately well and these subs are also really clear sounding less and less like a cheap solo baric and more like a L7 i highly recommend these subs as they are cheap dont need a huge box like JLs wich are also expensive and give you that great feeling of king kong in your trunk lol
