Pros: Lots of visual and audio setting, Great option NavTraffic, Great UI and Voice interface.
Cons: Updated maps a little expensive.
The Bottom Line: If your looking for a NAV system without a NAV DVD, a great UI and audio and visual interface, add the optional NAVTraffic you can?t go wrong with this.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I got this unit install with the DDX6019. All the map and software is stored in the box. You can plot to any one or more than 5 million Points if interests. You can review the map and point to where you want to go. It stores your recent finds so you...

Pros: Easy to use, works well, can be updated
Cons: None yet
The Bottom Line: A great GPS Nav system for a permanent/professional looking install with uprade capabilities... from Garmin. Can't ask for any more. A little pricey but reasonable via mail order.

Review: I looked around at different options but finally decided to go with this unit and a DDX7017 Kenwood DVD head unit. So this review is for the operation with that display head unit.
Interface: There is a separate interface on the rear of the... |

Pros: Way beyond my expectations.
Cons: Bit pricey for stand-alone unit, would really expect the price to-drop-to a reasonable $300.
The Bottom Line: User-Friendly interface and highly accurate GPS / WAAS receiver.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: One of the most incredible and easiest navigation systems that I have encountered.
Installed as a complement to a totally integrated in-dash system (Kenwood KVT-717DVD) i.e. DVD, TV, Weather-Band-Radio & HD Radio. This unit was designed... |

The Bottom Line: Buy this unit if you want the latest technology.

Review: Just installed Kenwood KNA-G510. In my Acura NSX.
I researched many units before deciding on the KNA-G510. There were issues with others in the critical "Nav" phase. Lost sats, bad directions, etc. Garmin got it right. Oh I forgot to... |

Pros: Love this product, does all it is said to do.
Cons: The operator's manual was written by Martians maybe???
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Some comments I have read about the Kenwood KNA-G510
"The only downfall on the Nav system is the volume of the voice-over commands. Even when cranked to 100% the system is hard to hear over any music you may be playing." ... |

Pros: Small size, easily upgradeable with SD Cards. 3D view. Well known Street pilot software.
Cons: Everything else. Bad satelite reception. No Dead reckoning.
The Bottom Line: Not recommended. Kenwood choose to market a stripped down version of the European unit, to the same price, plus it has horrible satelite reception
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I had read about the European version of this new Kenwood navigation unit, the KNA-G520 and it came with Gyroscope and speed sensor cable. I liked the fact that it came in a small box that I could easily hide away in the car and still be able to use...

Pros: Works perfect. Fast interface compared to portabel units.
Garmin is the best! Cons: None for me.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: To fix a low volume level on your Kenwood receiver it is not enough to just adjust volume to 100% on g-510. First, on the main screen go to volume- advanced and make sure these are at 100%.
Next, on your Kenwood receiver (not the nav unit) go to... |
