Can't _Anyone_ Make a Proper D-Pad?

Date of Review:  May 23, 2001
The Bottom Line: If accuracy is absolutely the most important thing you're looking for, look elsewhere; if you need a cheap controller that works "well enough," this will work.
Review: My old InterAct MakoPad had served me well for a couple years, but I found myself wanting for more buttons. That goal in mind, I took a trip to Fry's with my friends to search for a good PC controller.

We're a discriminating lot; we're the...

Piece of junk

Date of Review:  Sep 21, 2003
Review: This gamepad looks like it's got everything you need, and it's from the original gamepad maker: Gravis. Well, it may look very cool, but its very poorly built. My gamepad had issues with going left on the D-pad. Firstly, the Gravis software removes...

A well made, dependable pad with familiar layout;small size is only drawback

Date of Review:  Jul 15, 2006
Review: I bought this controller for my pc gaming needs because I know a Gravis product won't fall apart on me in 6 months and also because it has the PSX layout which is familiar to me and many others-the price also can't be beat.I play mainly...

It's a Gravis... What would you think?

Date of Review:  Dec 12, 2001
The Bottom Line: I recomend it for car games, and flight simulators. its alright for PC Emulation. Its accuracy and feel of the Pad its self is no good.
Review: I have had only several experiences with Game Pads. The best of all game pads are the simplest. This particular model is very simple, but Kensington/Gravis tried to make it more spicey. And when you try to make something bland too spicey you get...

An emu-lover's sidearm

Date of Review:  Dec 8, 2002
The Bottom Line: Feels great, works in OSX (with a little help from Gamepad Companion)!
Review: Lately I've gotten into computer emu's, especially SNES emulators. However, playing SNES ROMs with a keyboard and/or mouse is just ridiculous. So, I went looking for a USB controller/gamepad that had the look and feel of a console gamepad. Since I'm...

Game pad for the rest of us

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2000
Review: The GRAVIS Game Pad PRO USB is truly an excellent controller. It takes a shape and feel comparable to the controller used by the SONY Playstation. While this controller doesn't have anything that can be considered special or unique, it does have...

Great gamepad but you have to get the updated software!!

Date of Review:  Dec 5, 2000
Review: I bought my Gamepad Pro recently to make my PC game play more convenient...it's pretty hard to play "Boogerman" using the keyboard, hehe. If you buy this gamepad, expect the software to not work. You must go to the Gravis web site to get the updated...

Not the Best--but Good

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2000
Review: I received some car racing games for the PC from Santa but found it was too had to control the car using the keyboard. So, with some extra Christmas money, I bought this control pad.

I opened the box and found the controller was easy to...

Ergonomic, but not very sturdy

Date of Review:  Oct 1, 2004
Review: After owning two of these, I have to say that I am not impressed with their ability to hold up. Calibration goes on them very easily, and if you are into sports sims, then that can spell the difference between a game won or a game lost. Both of them...

Play games the right way!

Date of Review:  Aug 2, 2002
The Bottom Line: This GamePad is perfect for children and adults alike. Its lightweight, portable design and quick installation make it a MUST have for any serious or modest gamer.
Review: The Gravis GamePad Pro allows you to play games exactly like you would on a console system! You no longer have to strain your wrists or spend hours memorizing keyboard controls, you simply plug in the controller and your set to go! In fact, the...
