Author's Review
I am an avid PC gamer and I purchased the gravis game pad primarily to play Sammy Sosa High Heat 2001. I purchased the pad on the recommendation of a friend that had one and I have not been disappointed since! When I went out to buy a game pad, Circut City had the Microsoft for $60 and the Gravis for $20, I looked at the two and said "What the heck is the difference!?" I am usually one to buy the more expensive product, believing in the theory of "You get what you pay for.", but in this case I threw that thoery right out the window. The gamepad is well constructed and easy to use, I expect it to be around a while!
I bought the Gravis for $20 and haven't looked back since. Hooked it up to my USB port, installed the USB driver and off I went! The pad has performed very well for me since, no mechanical difficulties, no drags in the gameplay, works just fine! It does have a joystick like deal that screws into the directional pad but I have yet to use that. The gamepad has the exact same design, look and feel of the Sony Playstation gamepad. I would say I have 40+ hours on the gamepad at this point and I play hard, so blow off the $60 Microsoft and buy the value saver Gravis for $20!! I would definately recommend this gamepad to fellow gamers out there!
