Author's Review
I was getting tired of using my keyboard for all my games, so I went shopping on ebay for some gamepads. I saw the Gravis Destroyer Tilt, and after reading the description I thought it sounded really cool. So I won it on ebay for $4.50, plus $8, shipping coming to a total of $12.50 (and it retails for $30). When I got the gamepad, it's literally plug and play, because of USB. I used the gamepad with the super nintendo emulator on my mac, and you can set which buttons do what within the emulator preferences. When setting which button is what, it says Button 0, Button 1.. etc, but none of the buttons are labeled on the gamepad. BUT, if you push on the button on the gamepad, it goes to its correct Button # on the screen. I am not sure if this is the case with all games, or just this emulator. The gamepad has a very nice shape which makes it nice to hold on to. The tilt feature can be turned on and off with the touch of a button. The tilt feature is very very cool to play with in any game, and it works wonderfully. The 8 way controller (up, down, right, left..etc) is a bit sensitive, sometimes it goes to the right or down when you meant to push something else. I suppose this is the case with all 8 way controllers, as it's easy to press the wrong area. All in all, this is a GREAT gamepad, extremely fun to play with, and a great addition to a gamer's collection.
