Good air conditioner

I purchased 2 of the Kenmore 75051 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioners to replace the 22 year old Kenmores currently in my daughters Rooms. I primarily selected these for the size price & effeciency. Walmart, Home Depot & Lowes did not have anything comperable in stock. The features & effecience for the price were great. The only caution for future purchasers is to check the units before leaving the store. In summary 3/5 units had problems out of the box. One had an unacceptably noisy blower fan. The second had an unacceptably noisy compresser. The third had a broken output vent control tab. Once I got beyond the defects the two I kept are quietly keeping my daughters bedrooms comfortably cool.
