possible noise fix

We just purchased one off ebay new for about $50. We had read on the reviews that the noise it made was horrible. When we received ours it too was very noisy. We opened it up and found that the transmission came from the factory with no grease. We greased it and it is much quieter now. Perhaps this is a common problem. It seems to get a little bogged down with french bread dough, but that is our only complaint so far and seems to be a great deal for the money compared to the kitchenaids.
