Satisfied With Performance

I have had my Kenmore purifier for less than a month. It was really affordable ($79) and had a good CADR (clean air delivery rate) rating. See www.cadr.org. I did a lot of research before settling for this one. Its important that you get a purifier that meets your room requirements or even larger. This purifier is good for small rooms (mine is about 120 square feet) and it meets the ozone requirements. Some purifiers emit ozone and that can potentially be harmful for the lungs. It has two filters (pre-filter and HEPA). Checking the pre-filter I was able to notice dust and tiny feathers from my goose pillows, so I can see that its working with circulating the air. The room does feel and smell a bit fresher. The purifier can be placed nearly anywhere since the room air comes in through the front and the clean air comes out of the top. Quiet Operations seems to be a key component of finding a nice purifier. Low setting with the Kenmore is pretty quiet. Medium is noticeable. High and Turbo are have volume. However, the sounds are not bad at all for those who like a little bit of white noise in the background and is comparable to the sound of an air conditioner. So far, I am very pleased with its performance.
