Fingers crossed. It's a dream machine so far.
Pros:
Controls are easy to understand and use.
Large capacity. Profile cycle to remove stains.
Cons:
It's expensive.
The Bottom Line:
Install it correctly, and take the time to read and follow the instructions in the Owner's Manual. We're very happy with the cleaning performance. Jury's out on long term durability.

Author's Review
I'm the husband of a delighted owner of a new Kenmore HE3t washer. My wife raves about the huge capacity, the range of cycles, and the ease of use. Her only complaint so far is that some cottons come out of the washer with wrinkles (due to the 1200rpm spin cycle) that don't come out in the dryer. For those loads, she has learned to set the Spin Speed to Medium to reduce the wrinkles.
We both found the controls intuitive. Watch the video that comes with the HE3t, and read the manual to understand the formidable capabilities you paid for!
A couple of tips: Be sure the installer(s) don't remove the 4 transport bolts that secure the tub until the washer is almost in its final position in your laundry room. Also, be sure that the washer is perfectly level, and that the 4 leveling "feet" are tightened so they won't vibrate out of level. (If you have a vinyl or tile floor, you can spray it with window washing solution so that the rubber feet will slide easily into final position without tearing the vinyl.) If the washer "walks" during the spin cycle, you have a problem. If the floor of your laundry room isn't quite as solid as it could be, you can put a 3/4 in. thick piece of plywood under the washer.
Take care to measure the detergent, softener, and bleach. Also, according to the Owner's Manual, "If you are using the Prewash option, the Auto Soak with a wash cycle, or Delay, powdered detergent must be used in the main wash compartment since liquid detergent may seep out of the main wash compartment during the prewash, soak time, or delay before the main wash begins." Whew...who wants to remember that? Why not resolve to always use dry detergent and avoid the dreaded "seep" problem. :-)
Regarding long term durability, we have our fingers crossed. So far we've been delighted with the performance of the HE3t.
