Kenmore 54351 Dehumidifier

I have purchased two of these, both failed due to poorly designed metal components, it seems that after about six months use, the dis-similar metals used in the condenser created corrosion between the copper tubing parts, and some thin galvanized metal framing components, causing the unit to essentially completely corrode the tubing, allowing all the freon to escape, ruining it, not worth repairing.

Both units failed in about 9-12 months. The first unit, Sears replaced with a new unit, the second unit, I thought was working, but waited about 14 months after purchase to return it, and they would not replace it.
