Great fan for room or dorm

I use this fan in my room and in my dorm when I am at college.
It is a very good fan for anyone looking for a simple yet powerful window fan with fresh air/exhaust capabilities.

Dimensions: ( 10/10 )
The main body of the unit is about as big as from one's fingers to one's elbow. There are are extendable flaps on both sides to fill the rest of the window.

The fan is very light, and there is an indent near the top where you can hold the unit. The light weight makes this fan easy to install in any window by anyone.

The cord comes out from the bottom of the unit, and there is a grove to allow the cord to pass through. There cord length is decent, about two or 3 arm lengths, but you may need an extension cord if there are no outlets near your windows. The plug only has two prongs, so no need to worry about the ground pin.

Controls and Settings: ( 9/10 )
There are 3 dials and 2 switches on the unit.
They are all big, easy to read, and easy to turn.

First, there is the temperature dial. You can set this if you want the fan to turn on when it senses that the room temperature has reached to a certain point. However, this dial does not have actual temperatures written on, so you must guess and get a feel for how often the fan will blow at what setting. If you turn this dial all the way to the right, the fan will never turn itself off. This is how I usually have my fan set.

Now, there are two more dials, each controlling one of the fans. The one on the left controlling the left fan, and the one on the right controlling the right fan. There are 4 positions and they are in this order: "off", "super", "high", "low". You can definitely feel a difference between "super", "high", and "low". "Low" does not make much noise, "high" is slightly louder, and "super" makes a lot more noise. The noise is not very bad however, it is a spinning/blowing noise. I don't think it will prevent you from sleeping, unless maybe you are very sensitive to sounds like this. But when you need the fan to be very powerful, you will definitely feel the power of the "super" mode.

Lastly, there are two switches, one for each fan. The switches have two positions: "fresh air" and "exhaust".
When set to "fresh air", the fan will blow in air from outside. When set to "exhaust", the fan will suck air from inside the room and send it out the window.

Some of you may say, why do I need an exhaust mode? Well, anyone who lives in a college dorm may know that smokers like to smoke near the buildings. Settings the fan to exhaust can stop the smoke from entering your room. Also, if your room starts to smell from a game of "Beirut", the exhaust mode will help clear your room of that odor. I think exhaust can also be used for sucking out dusty air and humid air. You can set each fan individually, so you can have one fan on "fresh air" and the other fan on "exhaust". This may help facilitate air circulation.

Overall, this is a light-weight window-sized fan that is very powerful that can do both air intake and exhaust. It is very convienent for bedrooms and dorms, and looks like a nice and sleek fan.
