Run away from this board

I purchased one yesterday to replace the s939 mb in my parents machine that had gone bad. This mb posted normally however when I tried to reinstall windows it would intermittently loose all the drives attached to it. I only had 1 ide dvd and a 200gb seagate 7200.10 sata2 hd and it would quit seeing them at random. I could never install windows because they kept on disappearing. After 4.5hrs of this I gave up and returned the board for a bfg nf4ultra which booted right out of the box no problem and installed windows with the same drives. I own two other msi boards one of which is the platinum version of this mb and it's a good board. The k8n neo4-f is not of the same quality as my other msi boards. The f in this case would be the grade I give this board. I know that s939 mb's are becoming difficult to find but you don't want this one. Do yourselves a favor and look a little harder for that replacement or upgrade to a newer platform.
