Cheaply made AM/FM clock radio

I bought this radio around the beginning of 2004. What caught my eye was the projector that puts the time on the wall, ceiling, etc. At first it was pretty cute, but after I realized that it was losing several minutes every couple of months I immediately stashed this junk away. I paid something like $22 for it on Ebay and it was a complete waste of money. The circuit that keeps time for the projector is not using the same circuit that keeps the time for the clock itself. They are two separate clocks, and the projector clock does not keep time. I talked to the person I bought it from and she said that she had no problems with the other ones she sold, but since these all use the same electronic circuitry they probably all do the same thing. It really is hard to find a good clock radio these days unless you want to spend a few hundred dollars.
