Tequila shots? Ack!

I don't know how people do shots of this stuff. Just the smell of it makes me think twice about drinking it. But you can't make a decent margarita without it. So it's kind of a double edged sword.

Jose Cuervo is probably the best known tequila (to-kill-ya) in the world. Go to any bar any where (or any frat house) and ask for Jose and they'll know what you're asking for. Straight up it's scary but toss it into a blender with ice and margarita mix and you've got something special. I prefer some flavor other than lime (I know that's sacreilge to some people) there's a place where I live that makes awsome banana margaritas. I could drink them all day (or until I couldn't stand any more), and you can't make a margarita w/o Jose.

I've bought store-brand tequlia before and there is a differance! Jose Cuervo is scary but generic tequila is downright nasty!

On a side note, people will tell you that tequila drunks are the worst and they're right. I don't know what the difference is but getting blasted on tequila is much more dangerous to your repuatation than other drinks. Remember that next time you go out.
