I have worn contacts since the 8th grade. I have been through my fair share of contact lense brands. I used Johnson & Johnson Acuvue 2 Contact Lenses for about 7 years and was never disappointed by them.

PRICE

On the market lenses can cost you an arm and a leg or be dirt cheap. This product fits nicely into the budget of anyone. They are neither the cheapest nor most expensive brand of contact lenses on the market. However, their price is a deal for the quality of the product.

DURABILITY/PRODUCT CARE

These contact lenses are perhaps not the most durable on the market, but they will last as long as you take care of them. I made the mistake of leaving them in at night for a while, and they didn't last more than 2 weeks like that. As long as you take proper care of your lenses they will last for a minimum of a month.

BREATH-ABILITY

The #1 most important aspect of a contact lenses is its ability to allow oxygen to your eye. This product when compared to the MUCH more expensive brands looks really bad. If you have astigmatism, cataracts, or other eye conditions that require more breath-ability then Johnson & Johnson Acuvue 2 contact lenses are not the product you need. However, these contacts will not harm or worsen your eyes if you do not have any conditions other than bad eyesight.

COMFORTABLE

These lenses are thin, soft, and hardly noticed when in use.  At first the wearer will notice them, but soon they become just another part of the eye as if they weren't there at all.

EASY TO HANDLE

The Acuvue 2 Contact Lenses are very easy to use and handle.  They are soft and therefore easily picked up by pinching it.  This will not damage the lense itself.  The lenses will not tint your eyes in any way.  The bluish tint they have is merely applied in order for the the user to be able to see it while it is in contact solution.  Also, the lenses have a small "123" printed on it in order to help the user know whether it is inside out or not. 

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

Johnson & Johnson Acuvue 2 contact lenses many times will have a warranty or guarantee with the product. Make sure you know what type of guarantee your lenses have before purchasing in case you need a different type and/or brand of contact lense. (I also made this mistake, but not with the Acuvue 2 lenses)

I must say that out of the many products I have tried, I have been the most satisfied with the Acuvue 2 lenses. They were the most reliable in my experience and I recommend them to anyone with eyesight problems.
