The Ultimate Amp!!

The Bottom Line:  If the JL Audio 500/1 is available for your setup. USE IT!!!!!
The JL Audio 500/1 is a great amplifier. I have it hooked up to 3-JL12w3's and they are some of the cleanest hardest hitting subs i have ever heard. It accepts up to a 8ga. wire and is setup to accept a variety of voltage inputs. The remote gain control is an excellent addition. It allows you to control the input sensitivity from anywhere in you vehicle. My local JL Audio dealer sold out of this amp before it was even in stock. Personally I recommend JL Audio for everyone. If you don't know JL you don't know car audio!
