2 problems

first: the ice maker stopped working at 11 months. I called and got someone to come out and fix it. He didnt give me a lot of details, but it was working again for about 5 weeks.

then it stopped again. I called JennAir and told them and they said it was now out of warranty. "No way" I said... you were just here 5 weeks ago. "sorry" they said, we only guarantee our fixes for 1 month.

I finally got them to come out. Again, the magician did something to fix it and left. I wasnt home at the time, wish I would have seen what he did, because now, 6 weeks later... its not working again.

second: when the doors open, and if you leave them open... they tend to slowly, then with force slam against whatever you have next to the fridge. in our case it is cabinets with metallic handles, so both doors both have marks where the handles hit them.

Not a huge deal, but the Jennair repairman from the ice maker problem said "its a problem we know about and we should have a kit soon that you can get to fix it yourself." Of course, if you call and ask about this, they have never heard of it.
