This range has been great! When it worked. I have one just over a year old. Oven doesn't work at all. Just quit for no apparent reason. Had a technician come in and he said the whole console is gone. I had an extended warranty but he said it was covered under the original warranty. A couple of days later I find out there are no parts in Canada. They call Whirlpool in the States and they say 3 weeks for the part. Isn't that wonderful. This is what happens when you have 2 huge companies merging. (Maytag-maker of Jenn-Air and Whirlpool.) The American government should have stayed out of it and allowed the Chinese company to originally buy Maytag. Quality and customer service, more than likely, will suffer from this transaction. Not sure if I will ever buy a Whirlpool or Maytag appliance again. When a company suffers structurally, the products they make are poor. Now watch out for GE. They just announced they are selling their appliance division. Somebody will buy it and start cutting costs. Result - poor quality.
