Very Pleased

I have to say the words "stove shopping" brought dread to everyone in my household. When I bought my home if I knew then that purchasing a replacement for our island slide in range would be such and ordeal, I may have chosen another home. Besides the fact that there are very few companies who actually make this product, the ones who do charge an arm and a leg for it. We shopped all the floor model and scratch and dent sales until we found one we could afford.

Now that Ive gotten that out of my system here's what I actually think of the product. Simply stated, Its GREAT.

WHAT I LOVE:
The coils heat up quickly and evenly. The oven preheats and lets you know when its ready with a bing thats loud enough for me to hear it with both TV's and two boys running and screaming. Same with the timer, nice and loud. The downdraft fan is so quiet on low I had to check a few times that it was even on.

WHAT I HATE (NOT REALLY HATE)
The downdraft fan is in the middle, between the two coil cartridges. Sometimes I splash when I cook, originally thought it was going to be worse of a problem than it actually is. I also think it could be a little shorter. Im used to my old range that dipped in the middle so the range was a little shorter than the counter, this one is actually higher than the counter by a bit. Again not a major problem more of a personal preference.
