Author's Review
About two months back it was time forme to receive my graduation present, a new car. I was so excited, but had a dilemna, I couldn't decide what to get!! So, I started driving around dealerships and looking at cars driving around me, and I saw the Jeep Wrangler. Normally, I wouldn't be bothered to look at it but I said to myself 'All my friends drive sports cars, maybe I should get something unique!'. So, i stopped and looked at the Wranglers, and really liked what I saw.
Couple weeks went by and I was still looking all over, highway dealers, internet, classifieds, etc. My dad told me to get a Mustang or a Camaro, but everyone has one of those. I kind of had my mind set on the Impreza WRX, but when that was looked at by dad he said the car was nowhere to be found. So I told him, if I can't get that I'd really like to look at Jeeps. Next day I listen to my voicemail and he says he's bringing a Jeep home for a test drive. I was so excited I was sweating from anticipation. The previous night I built a Jeep to my specifications at the jeep website, and he was bringing one home fit to that description!
When he pulled up I immediately took it for a spin. It took a little getting used to the large tires and turning, but it was fun, definetly a lot of fun. Yellow, 30" tires, hard top, soft top, CD player with a subwoofer, man this was cool!! I told him I wanted it, so we went back the same day and bought it.
Now it's been two months and the Jeep is as fun as ever, as a matter or fact it's getting even better! Jeeps are like legos, everything comes apart, and I mean everything. You can improve the looks in many ways, cheaply. Right now I'm waitining on some bumpers and a whole bunch of little items.
The Jeep is definetly a summer vehicle. With the soft top it takes minutes to make it convertible, and it's fun.
I love it, switching from a small sports car to a Jeep was a big change for me, but excellent at that. It's a LOT of fun, priced right, excellent features, and pretty smooth.
Oh, and did I mention it's yellow? They come in some hot colors!
