The Ultimate Cool Car

I bought my Jeep Wrangler because it was so cool. It still is a cool car. The style is classic and it gets tons of looks. You can do so much to it and with it.

Jeep holds Camp Jeep every summer. You take your Jeep there and they show you what it can do. We’ve gone through tons of off road trails with no problems. We’ve gone through streams and snow and never gotten stuck. Mopar makes great add on parts.

We have the soft top and hard top. For a Jeep, you must have the soft top. Once you learn how to take it off, it gets easier, but it can really be a pain. It’s awesome to leave work on a sunny afternoon and take the top down to drive out of the parking lot.

The hard top is nice too because it has a light inside and a defroster for the rear window. You’re not supposed to scrape ice off of the soft top windows. It also is quieter than the soft top. It is very heavy and you need a bunch of people to move it to get it on and off at the beginning and end of summer.

I have the manual 5 speed 6 cylinder. I had some transmission problems at first and had to have 3 gears replaced by the dealer. Since then, it’s been fine. I’ve heard of transmission problems in other Jeeps, but I’ve been ok since the repair. My friend has the automatic 4 cylinder and it sucks. It has no pick up and no power.

We’ve upgraded to the largest tires you can put on without a lift kit and it’s definitely better. The seats aren’t that comfortable and for a long ride with 4 people in the car, the air conditioning doesn’t cut it. The people in the back always sweat it out.

The sound bar is good if people in the back want to hear the music. If not, the base stereo is just fine. I purchased it even without the cassette player so that I didn’t have to worry about the radio getting stolen.
