a jeep above any other

Pros: better than a convertible, attention getter, reliable, fun, tough, fun

Cons: gas mpg, manifold leak, not enough horses

The Bottom Line: This is a great buy. Try and buy from someone who has a jeep next to the one he is selling. True Jeep lovers will have another.

I`ve owned 3 wranglers (90, 92, 95) and I never had more than routine maintenance on mine. All I bought with 95K + miles. The Most costly was the `90, water pump, stabilizer arms(wonder why), fuel pump, and battery. Not bad for a 4 cylinder at 100K+ miles. All work can be performed yourself with credible handbooks. Wranglers are great overall runners even with manifold leaks and a rough ride. I will always own a Wrangler. FYI, I was in an accident and was thrown into a concrete wall at about 40mph(head on perpindicular) and didn`t throw off alignment or bend frame, although through the laws of inertia I needed a new motor mount. Very safe, very tough, the love of my life. It`s a Jeep thing.
