UPDATE: Re-live your misspent youth

by   vraiblonde ,  Dec 12, 2000
Pros: Reliable, tough, low maintenance, good-looking and cool, baby!
Cons: Puddles on the floorboard because of a leaky dash
The Bottom Line: I have never had a more reliable vehicle than this Jeep. It is now 14 years old and on it's second owner and it's still going strong.
Review: Ever since I was a kid watching Mork and Mindy, I've wanted a Jeep Wrangler. Mindy always looked so slick driving hers against the backdrop of the Rockies. I used to sell television advertising and one of my clients was a Jeep-Eagle dealer. I showed ...

"My thoughts after a dozen years in my Wrangler..."

by   ohd222 ,  Jun 20, 2004
Pros: Versatility; Resale value; Character
Cons: Interior noise; Fuel economy; Practicality
The Bottom Line: A VERY worthy and reliable vehicle. NOT recommended as your primary means of transportation though!
Review: Twelve years ago, I was swayed by the advertising blitz that Chrysler had under way at the time. They managed to convince me that "I NEEDED A JEEP". Don't get me wrong; I figure that just about every adventure-loving young American male is, at one ...

A.K.A. "The Tank"

by   kansascity2k5 ,  Feb 20, 2005
Pros: Built like a tank. Prepared for any type of weather. Mechnicaly simple and reliable.
Cons: 19 MPG. Taking down the top is bothersome at first but it gets easier.
The Bottom Line: It's a tough vehicle that lives up to its history and hype.
Review: I bought my '92 SE in July last year and I have never been more satisfied with a vehicle. We had one of the worst snow storms in December and while everyone was getting stuck on the road and having to call for help, my jeep just plowed ahead without any ...

A steadfast vehicle

by   Amstel1 ,  Aug 12, 2000
Pros: Great jeep
Cons: ride may be rough
Review: My friend has a 1992 Jeep Wrangler. This was his first vehicle and he doesn't have a bad word to say about it. My favorite thing about this vehicle is riding in it in the summer; it is awesome to strip it down! We take off the top and the doors when it...

Jeeps Are Everywhere

by   citrusbee ,  Oct 13, 1999
Pros: convertible, good fourwheeling vehicle
Cons: very loud, lots of engine and transmission problems
Review: I own a 92 Jeep Wrangler and my fiance owns a 80 Cj-7. Soft-top jeeps are fine if you don't have to drive very far. Otherwise, they are extremely loud on the road. You can't talk to your passenger and without extra stereo equipment you can't hear the...

Another Domestic Brand Piece of Junk!!!!

by   ttdsgnr5 ,  Aug 28, 2003
Pros: Chick magnet, Fun to drive, Other owners wave to you.
Cons: poor gas mileage, unreliable, uncomfortable on trips over 50 miles
The Bottom Line: The only good qualities were that it was a chick-magnet and fun to drive with the top off. Nothing more.
