The BEST juicer for the money

I researched juicers for a month because I was given a Champion juicer as a gift and didn't like the size, shape, and looks (it also costs three times as much). I bought this juicer because of all the other good reviews on this web-site and others. The Champion worked well but was so heavy it was very difficult to move around for use and after. It also looked ridiculous in my kitchen with it's funny shape and gargantuan size. Also, the Champion seemed to expel a large amount of pulp and not as much juice (that I would rather be drinking).
The stainless steel Jack Lelanne looks great on my counter top and goes very well with my other stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. It's also much lighter and easier to move around.
As far as how well it makes juice I could not be happier. I defy anyone to find a juicer that works as well as this one for under $100.00. The pulp that comes out of the back into it's own integrated collection bin is actually dry. The amount of juice extracted is definitely more than my Champion. The hole for the raw vegetables is so large it can accommodate 5 carrots or a whole apple. It is actually so easy to use that if you push the veggies too hard it works less efficiently. Just let the blades spin and simply let the weight of you hand guide the pusher. The nozzle can be tilted upward after your finished so the glass can be taken away and juice will not drip on to the counter. Nice touch.
Cleanup is fairly simple although not as easy as the Champion. The blade has a tool for removal but I have been tightening it by hand thus allowing it to be removed by hand and this does not effect performance. We have been simply rinsing the parts daily, then placing in the dishwasher every once in a while for a deep clean. A bag can be used in conjunction with the collection bin to catch the pulp for use later and to ease the cleanup.
My only complaints are that it does not chew up leafy veggies very well (wheat grass, parsley, etc) and that the collection bin sits slightly too low and the pulp occasionally flies out the back getting on the wall (this can be avoided with care). Also, I wish the nozzle were slightly higher to accommodate a larger glass. I just use a wider shallow container when I want to have some juice immediately and drink some later in the day. Both problems are minor and I consider them not even a factor when considering buying this juicer. As stated earlier, for $79.00 this juicer is a steal.
Also, we both just started making fresh vegetable juice and are shocked about how great it tastes. We make some EVERY DAY.
