JVC XV-N650B DVD Player

I recently purchased this DVD player about 2 months ago. I mainly use it to play music CDs. One thing that does not make me happy is the fact that out of nowhere it will stop playing, and you hear this sort of grinding noise like its trying focus on the CD. Most of the time it will just skip ahead about 30 seconds to a minute, and that is just unacceptable. All of my CDs are in excelent condition, and it even does it on brand-new CDs. I think maybe JVC tried to build this one to swiftly, and overlooked the details in the process. At first I thought it was just my player that was acting up, but after reading the other reviews, I realize its a major problem with the model.
