Review: Just got this JVC KD-HDR1 early xmas present from the wife installed yesterday in my '99 Maxima along with Kicker coax in the rear deck and Kicker components in the front- plenty of power and no need for an extra amp nor sub to drive these babies!...

Great Radio!

Review: I got the unit yesterday, mar 09, from the circuit city at 1530 West Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ. the guys had me in and out in about an hr. I've only found a few hd channels but I like the sound quality a lot.

The Bottom Line: Get it. Built in HD, XM, and Sirius no need to add on in the future. Easy install. HD Radio through this unit sounds AWESOME!

Poor AM section

An entire HD radio for the price of a tuner, too good to be true?

The Bottom Line: Low-cost, excellent HD and FM radio performance, good set of features, this is basically car radio to get unless you need a fancy screen or even more features.
