The Gummy Ear-buds come in a variety of colors including: pink, blue, green and white. They are covered completely in a soft rubbery material that makes it extremely comfortable to use.

My Opinion

The ear-buds that originally came with my iPod nano tore up the insides of my ears something fierce. Like anyone would, I instantly tossed them aside and, the next time I was in the store, searched for a pair of new ear-buds.

I will be the first to admit that the bright colors drew me to them like a kid to candy. They were among the newest headphones, therefore they had been put out where everyone can see it. Likely not the smartest move one can make, but I was instantly caught. They looked far more comfortable than my hard, white ones and so I looked no further and snatched them up.

In The Long Run

Two years later and I'm still pleased with that decision. They are extremely comfortable and the music still comes through clearly even after all the times I've wrapped the chord around my iPod. I can turn my iPod on full blast and hear the music across the room perfectly, not even slightly distorted. Nothing has begun to fall apart and they still work fantastically. The soft blue color is most certainly a plus.

The Doctors Visit

The size of the buds is also nice because of a friends personal experience with her own iPod ear-buds. When the iPod first came out, they had the simple plastic ones. She fell asleep with them in her ears, they worked their way into her ear and punctured her eardrum. The doctors visit and the experience following was not pleasant. With these, however, you will not have this issue. They would likely fall out first. (I would hope.)
