Worth Every Single Cent

After my 12 year old Juiceman Juicer earned its place in 'Juicer Heaven', it was time to look around again. I wanted something different, even though it worked well. I read review after review & came upon the Breville JE95XL. The aesthetics initially caught my eye & was pleasantly surprised when the reviews were simply icing on the cake. I purchased it at Macy's in Seattle, Washington. After tax, it was $154.00. Personally, I thought this was a superb deal. After taking it home, it was, unfortunately, 1/4" too tall to fit underneath my overhead cabinet. This was the only disappointment I had.

The 2 speeds are very useful, though I rarely use the low. The huge feeder tube is great, but I still have to occasionally cut my Granny Smith apples. A 2 second effort. This thing is powerful. I love the sound when you initially turn it on. A baby turbo engine - not an immediate "fast", but a gradual slow whir to a drone of power. It wasn't too loud for even my sensitive ears. It extracted everything. I don't push the produce too fast like you see everywhere since I like to extract all the juice. The pulp was extremely dry & the juice abundant. Thank God for the pulp cover. That stuff shoots out of the machine making my old juicer look very inferior. Even with this speed, absolutely nothing escaped & nothing to clean off the counter.

Cleaning: A snap! 4 parts - the pulp container, centrifugal base, screen disc & the cover. It comes with a heavy duty brush, but I prefer a simple vegetable cleaning brush from the grocery store. From start to finish: 5 minutes at the max to rinse everything to air dry. Don't waste time putting it in a dishwasher. Your two hands are quicker.

I wish the 1 year warranty were longer as it would make me feel as if the manufacturer stood behind its product with more confidence.

All in all, I'm a very happy owner & highly recommend this product to anyone.
