Pros:  A very nice appliance that has lots of useful features.

Cons:  Expensive (but worth it!)

The Bottom Line:  If you are looking for a high-output range, you will not be disappointed with this product.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

After shopping extensively for a dual-fuel oven, I chose this Jenn-Air appliance. I selected it for the following features:
1) Gas cooking top with five burners. Very high output (I believe it is 16,000 BTUs - close to commercial grade)
2) Dual-fuel (electric ovens)
3) Double ovens (each oven is completely separate and can be heated to a different temperature and used for a different type of cooking, such as broiling)
4) Convection oven (bottom oven only)
5) Styling (looks professional but not overbearing)

The double ovens are very useful. The top one is smaller and is perfect for heating anything you would cook on a baking sheet. It preheats in just a few minutes (twice as fast as the larger oven). The bottom oven would accommodate a large turkey no problem. Both ovens have very nice slide-out racks which allow you to place your pans into the oven easily. The bottom oven also has a "half rack" in addition to two regular racks, so you could put three pans of food in that oven alone if you needed to.

The burners light with ease and it is very easy to adjust the flame to precisely where you want it. High heat will bring your food to boil very rapidly, which is nice for families who enjoy pasta as mine does.

The burner covers are in two large pieces -- you just move them to the side and you can easily clean the stove top. The tops on the gas burners are removable for scrubbing as needed. The oven is self-cleaning.

I have not found anything I do not like about this range. It has exceeded my expectations. Although they are quite expensive, if you cook a lot it is worthwhile to have a high-quality appliance. My appliance has stainless steel which I have found to be more fingerprint-resistant than the stove it replaced. Stainless steel does add $100-$200 to the price; I would strongly recommend contacting multiple outlets and negotiating for this item. We saved approximately $300 by shopping around.
