Author's Review
For this album. It is one of the very best I have ever heard and the first thing I will add to my "Love it" list. Usually, I am reluctant to buy a Live CD because most of the time you can't even hear the music for all the screaming fans and they do more singing than the artists. Not so with ITAOT. This album has perfect sound not to mention a great story. I have read a lot about the history of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters himself. I knew the wall was basically the story of his life. I think most of us can relate to what he was going through. There are many reasons that I love Pink Floyd, but this album just reinforces every one of them. They are true, brave, and the most talented orchestra on this earth.
You must listen to this album from beginning to end and listen to the words very carefully. Follow along with the ongoing story and it is better than watching a movie. Well, is anyone else thinking a new movie about Pink? I think that would be great! A computer animated laser-like movie. My favorite songs on this album are 'The Trial', 'Mother', 'Run Like Hell', 'Another Brick...' and well every other song on there =)I could listen to this album all day every day. There is so much diversity in the music. At first it sounds clashing and 'crazy', but soon the rhythm flows and you can just predict the next note! Listen to this while you are driving or relaxing, but especially after a hard day~ it will take your mind off of your problems.
