bad cd burner.

got it two years ago. didn't work from the beginning. i spent a few weeks contacting their tech department through email...in the end they decided that it was the cd's i was using (standard memorex), that messed up the burner.

i got new cd's...and it started to work. but only everyother time, it would give me errors some of the time...on the start, halfway through, at the end...it was pretty much random. when a cd would work...it would take about 1/2 an hour to make. awful.

i just got a laptop, and the cd burner on here burns 5 times as fast, and it doesn't give me any errors.

don't buy this. get something internal, it'll be faster & won't give you as many problems.
