Fantastic watch!

I've owned this watch for about 2 years now (the 8926 model) and I couldn't be happier. Even after reading reviews about how it looks and feels like a much more expensive watch, I still couldn't believe it when I first took it out of the box. It's very sharp looking with surprising heft. I get compliments on it all the time. It's accurate to about a minute a week.  It is simply my favorite watch.

It is extremely durable, I've gone snorkeling with it, it's been dropped a few times... it still looks and works as well as the day I got it. Here are a few random thoughts, mostly in response to remarks others have made about the watch on Epinions.com and around the web:

- Some are disappointed when they find that this watch is not as accurate as a quartz watch. It's not supposed to be. It's mechanical. Most people fully realize this, but I can't help but roll my eyes every time I read a review where someone doesn't. I never get tired of looking at the mechanical watch movement through the display back.

- Some complain that the rotating bezel is too hard to turn.  I've found that the bezel turns easily if you place your fingers *on* the face of the bezel when turning it (rather than trying to grasp it from the side... that makes it much harder than it needs to be).

- I've never had any problems with the bracelet. It's very nice and solid. You *will* need to get it adjusted to fit your wrist by a jeweler when you get it (it'll cost you five bucks and take 5-10 minutes... just do it. Don't try to pop out the extra links yourself with a paper clip and then be shocked when it falls apart a few days later. Leave it to a pro).

- The luminescent marks on the face of the watch don't glow very long (or much) unless you expose the watch to a bright light an hour or so earlier. It's not a great watch to check a lot in the dark.

Overall, this is a great watch. I'm very happy with it!
