It's a document reader, and that's it

Date of Review:  Jul 5, 2008
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it unless you just want to read documents. Bluetooth and wifi features are unrefined.
Review: When I was in college I was a big fan of the Sony CLIE (2001-2003). The PDA broke and I decided to get a Palm TX last summer to replace it.

I'm focusing on practical usability here. I'll address the features and how they work in real life...

Is the palm still relevant ?

Date of Review:  Jan 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: The Palm as a platform is dead, no point in purchasing this obsolete device.
Review: Overview
The Palm T|X is the top of the line hand held personal data assistant manufactured by Palm. It is the most advanced of the traditional Palm PDAs, using a similar operating system and possessing pretty much the same interface. The T|X...

The device I didn't know that I would like so much!

Date of Review:  Jun 13, 2008
The Bottom Line: Buy this, you may not know you need it now but believe me you do!
Review: I had never used a PDA before, I was always of the opinion that they seemed like a neat device but what did I really need one for since I work at the computer all day and have a laptop at home. Anyway, my birthday was coming around and I saw the...

~~ Palm TX: A Non-Techie Perspective ~~

Date of Review:  Mar 12, 2006
The Bottom Line: The Palm TX is an awesome as it packs convenience and organization into 5.25 ounces!
Review: Preface
I'm not a technology geek nor am I am technologically challenged. I am somewhere in the middle between those extremes. My Palm TX is used mostly for personal use. I like to use the Palm for maintaining my schedule, keeping important...

It's not perfect, but it is the best palm I've owned.

Date of Review:  Jan 27, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you want a PDA that offers Wifi, bluetooth and Infrared, this is for you. If you need a camera bundled, keep looking! Solid buy IF you buy extended warranty.
Review: I don't consider myself as a novice or beginner when it comes to Palms. I've owned a Palm Pilot, Palm III, Sony Clie TJ27, Zire 31,Zire 72s, and The Palm T/X. Hands down the T/X is the best offering from Palm to date, but it's not without flaws...

Three-Fourths Perfect

Date of Review:  Feb 10, 2009
The Bottom Line: Good unit if it wasn't too easy to Brick the device via software - again it's REALLY Easy - one small  mistake can render the device useless...
Review: I got this in December for myself for a christmas present, however I've had NOTHING, BUT TROUBLE with it.

The good is that the 480x320 screen is nice, colors are vibrant and beautiful, and the unit's structure is quite nice to hold in...

T|X Many Hoops To Clear to Work With Outlook

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you are a Microsoft Outlook power user you will need to add software.
Review: I agree with the other reviewers, so I'll concentrate on Outlook support.

Over the holidays I finally got around to migrating / integrating my Palm TX PDA with Microsoft Outlook.

This is my third Palm Pilot. I had a Palm Pilot...

Great Device. Be Wary of System Crashes and Screen Freezes

Date of Review:  Jan 25, 2009
The Bottom Line: I love my Palm T/X and have used it for over 3 years. It does evertything but wash dishes and tuck me in at night.
Review: I have been using my Palm T/X for over 3 years and love it a lot. I must tell you that I have experienced frequent crashes and screen freezes. I hate when the screen freezes and won't respond to the stylus and I have to reboot. I don't know if it is...

The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this device to anyone that is looking for a WiFi and Bluetooth enable PDA.
Review: I have used a couple of different PDA's at work to help me carry important reference materials that I use. I am a computer repair specialist for a medium size manufacturing company and I have a lot of information that I have refer back to. Most of...

Awesome

Date of Review:  Jul 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: I haven't used any other PDA/handheld, so I can't compare. But can say that the Palm TX has exceeded all my expectations.
Review: I'm in love with my Palm TX. This is my first handheld (although I've been after them for a long time), and I am quite certain that I made a good choice going for this one. In fact, I am so in love with this gadget that I need to defend it from some...
