Not worth the money

Date of Review:  Feb 23, 2002
The Bottom Line: This carrier was very uncomfortable for me and is a real stuggle to get my daughter in and out of it.
Review: I thought it was a great idea while I was pregnant to get one of these carriers. I liked the idea of keeping my baby close to me while cleaning or doing schoolwork. The first time I took my daughter out, I used it and I was sorry. It made my...

Find something else!

Date of Review:  Jul 1, 2002
The Bottom Line: Find something else. When wet (from drool etc) color transfers to baby clothing. Uncomfortable!
Review: I was incredibly disappointed with this carrier. It was a gift and I didn't try it until my baby was 12 weeks old. First of all the straps are way to skinny and it is supposed to hang on you as if you're carrying a backpack on your front and it...

Not the "top of the line".

Date of Review:  Dec 22, 1999
Review: I can honestly say that receiving a front carrier was one of my favorite, most used shower gifts (aside from my high chair and stroller) ! Carrying my infant around in this safe front-carrier was wonderful! My baby daughter & I went on long walks...

Now I Know What A Pregnant Woman Feels Like ...

Date of Review:  Aug 15, 2001
The Bottom Line: A fine, inexpensive carrier for limited use; those who expect long and frequent usage may want to seek one that is more adjustable for fit to infant and parent.
Review: I work at home and my mate works outside the home, so I'm a bit of a house-husband ... and that means, at the moment, having our 3-month-old son at home with me during the day.

I love it -- infants Liam's age sleep a lot during the day...

Infant carrier

Date of Review:  Nov 3, 2001
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this infant carrier! It worked wonders for me when my daughter wanted her mommy and I needed my hands!
Review: the Double Duty Soft Infant Carrier is and overall good product.I didn't buy this one, it was a gift at my baby shower. I use it a lot when I'm trying to make food or do the dishes. I have a very active puppy so I don't want my daughter on the floor...

A Strait Jacket for Mom and Baby!

Date of Review:  Feb 17, 2000
Review: This carrier was given to us by a friend after our son was born. I was really into the idea of carrying the baby around while cleaning or shopping, so I thought this would be a great way to do it! NOT! My son was on the lower side of average weight...

This carrier can't handle the weight

Date of Review:  May 8, 2001
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this carrier for anyone who is practicing attachment parenting or who wears the baby frequently instead of using a stroller.
Review: The Double Duty Soft infant Carrier can't fulfill a single duty, never mind a double. The carrier is bulky and cumbersome. For a mother who wears her baby continually while doing housework and gardening, it is a bother. The straps actually become...

A life saver and a back saver

Date of Review:  May 19, 2000
Review: I was shopping in our local Wal-mart store about a month or so ago when I came across a shelf that had all different types of baby stuff on clearance. I pick up the double duty soft infant carrier and when I seen that they had marked it down to five...

You can do better!

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2000
Review: I used this carrier a couple times, but it's just not as good as the NoJo sling. Here are the details:

This carrier is only useful for a short period of time -- maybe 2 months through 1 year for an average-sized baby. Younger babies don't...

Yuck...Yuck

Date of Review:  Feb 15, 2000
Review: I purchased this product to carry around the infant in my daycare. I dislike this product for many reasons. First it is hard to get the infant in and out of and can become a dangerous situation at times. Especially if they do not want to cooperate...
