Tuned to my needs

The first thing that caught my eye on the cover of this magazine was the tight yellow Greddy civic. Ok ok, I admit that it was the SeConD thing that caught my eye, the first being the beautiful Catherine Nguyen. So onto the review...

Featured Car - I really like the main feature of Import Tuner; as an example, the July 2000 issue with the Yellow Civic Si. For the custom enthusiast, the article has all the specs of the mods. And for all of the people just looking at the pictures, it's all good to since most of them are self explanatory (custom exhaust, inter-cooler, spoiler, etc.)

Model Interview - Now I know that some people complain that import tuner is just another cars and girls magazine. But in reality, the interview is only a small portion of the whole magazine and is worth reading along with looking at all them pretty pictures, ok?

Departments - Another nice thing about Import 2NR are the short departments in the front. They are like little anecdotes about the writers' related experiences like having their engine blow and dissinergrating everything else under the hood.

General - Like many other Custom Car magazines, Import Tuner has its share of ads (practically every other page) But the articles are worth the $5 you have to dish out to buy one. Import 2NR is actually moderately priced compared to some other magazines i've seen on the import scene. And 2NR has alot of individual cars it writes articles on, not just the cover car.

Power Pages - Each issue, 2NR features cars in it's power pages and gives an explanation of how to boost their performance and horsepower. I got a nice surprise when I found that in my July 2000 issure they featured the rare Nissan Skyline GTR in the powerpages. 2NR gives graphs and pictures to go along with their steps on powering up your vehicle.

So in conclusion Import Tuner is good for enthusiast or beginner reader. If you want all the specs to the cars of just want to browse through pictures, pick up the current issue of Import Tuner.
