Product Review

Cause everybody likes to score, eh!

by   dupontrocks ,   Sep 9, 2000

Pros:  bad movie soundtracks best cuts all in one place and by MOBY

Cons:  some purists say this album is just a marketing ploy as if any cd isn't, please!

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

Moby has contributed to some pretty stylish flicks over the years so its only fitting that he put the stuff together so we don't have to buy any crummy soundtrack albums and suffer hearing artists that we don't care for like Lisa Minelli and Tony Bennett. From that Al Pacino movie Heat we get the choral ambient sounding Moby on classic cut "God moving over..." and the rocking must hear Joy Division cover, "New Dawn Fades". From Scream yes that teen-horror satire we get the technotronic "First Cool Hive" and Moby's calling card Go(which contains elements from the Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks fame). Theres some more good stuff but the best song wasn't really in any movies its Moby's take on the James Bond theme and it is a cool song. My name is Moby and I don't have a first name. I wonder how Moby likes his Martini's?(probably with no animal materials)
