My Dream Come True!

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for real portability and quality, this is the machine for you! It is worth every penny!

The same day which I returned my Dell I ordered my Thinkpad. It took four...

Not as pretty as a Toshiba, but it will kick it's butt!

Date of Review:  Nov 24, 2003
The Bottom Line: Laptops are like socks. You can buy two cheap ones, or one you'll be really happy with.
Review: This review is coming from someone who has owned 7 different laptops, 4 of them IBMs. I am quite a big geek, and a little hard to please when it comes to gear. My IBM T40 (237372U) is an awesome machine that impresses me every day.

My last...

No Thinking Necessary - Great Buy!!

Date of Review:  Sep 18, 2004
The Bottom Line: For the weight, speed, battery life and solid feel of this notebook, I highly recommend the high price. I have had no issues with it in 7 months.
Review: After owning many computers, this Thinkpad T40 is my first new notebook. I read many reviews and had worked on my brother-in-law's during vacation, and had to have one. I purchased it from PCMALL.com and it arrived safely and as promised. They also...

Probably not worth the extra money!

Date of Review:  Jul 22, 2003
The Bottom Line: Buy this laptop if money is no object. It's solid, sleek, and easy to use. Buy a Dell if you want to save $1000!
Review: In a world of sub-$1000 laptops, it is a hard sell to purchase a laptop that can easily run over $2000. I will list what I think are the pros & cons of the IBM Thinkpad--in particular as compared to the cheaper DELL models.
First, my specs:...
