Pros: Looks good. Isn't unsightly like most. Easy maintenance.

Cons: Noisier than expected, Made a scratchy noise when starting up one time (hasn't since).

Overall it's great because it's care-free. And though this is my first humidifier, I expected it to be a lot quieter. Mind you it is at my bedside.

This scratchy noise I speak of happened after having it for about a month or so. I refilled the tank and turned it on. the thing sounded like a car that had overheated. If it happens again i'll be calling Hunter directly. But until then i'm happy with the machine.

Also, I should mention that I have quite a large room that I'm trying to humidify, so I might not be getting as much efficiency out of it as I might in a regular sized bedroom.
